Vernon Shooting Preserve manages its diversified 500 acre terrain with outstanding and varied covers from corn, sorghum, sunflowers and natural grass to plantations of evergreens, hardwoods, extensive brush and hedge rows all offering a natural, challenging hunt

Youngsters 12-18 are always welcome at no extra charge. Children under 12 are not allowed a firearm, but may accompany the hunting party. |

| Vernon National Shooting Preserve property has been owned and operated by Ron Acee and his family for 20 years. |
|
|
Club hours: We open at 8:00 weekdays and 7:30 am on weekends. Afternoon hunts begin at 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm or dusk whichever is first. All hunts must end on time.

We have 5-Stand Clays, Flyer events and Continental shoots. We organize special hunts for our members. Hunts and events can be reserved for private parties

| Relax after your hunt with refreshments (soup and sandwich). Other meals upon request. |
